Some info about the village of South Chatham: Route 28 is the red line near top of map....Red River is the boundary of Chatham and Harwich....Pleasant St is the first street going south from Rt 28 east of the town line.....
On this survey map, look to the left of the "O" in "Forest Beach Rd"...see the 4 dots and road in the red ellipse? That's the cottages and driveway! (Map only shows 4 of the 6 units)
....and it's only about a 5 minute walk (or a ONE minute or less drive!) from cottages to a choice of two beaches (Pleasant St @ 1/4 mile or Forest Beach Rd @ 1/3 mile) on Nantucket Sound! Both beaches have small (15 and 35 vehicles, respectively) parking lots and they're FREE!
